17-Year-Old Stabs Fellow Teen After Dispute In Parking Lot Of Long Island 7-Eleven

A 17-year-old stabbed a 19-year-old in the chest following a dispute in the parking lot of a Long Island CVS.

It happened at the CVS on Terry Road in Nesconset at approximately 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, Suffolk County Police said.

The victim then walked into CVS, where an employee called 911, according to police.

The victim was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Following an investigation, police arrested the 17-year-old a short distance from the scene at approximately 10:25 p.m. 

Fourth Squad detectives charged the suspect with second-degree assault. He was held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday, Jan. 2.
